When we moved from the sunny south this past summer, I don’t think we really knew what we were in for. As I sit here and look out the window all I can see is snow! We are currently battling the third major snow storm of the winter season. While I could stay in the warm house for days at a time, I fear that my child and my husband would go crazy.
In an effort to break the cabin-fever last weekend (snow storm #2 was upon us) we bundled Princess P up and took her outside to play. Along for the trip was the Snow Commander Toddler Boots that Sorel had very generously sent us to review.
These fun boots are made to keep even the youngest snow enthusiasts’ feet happy and warm. The Snow Commander Toddler Boots are insulated with ThermoPlus and have a thermal rubber shell to keep out water and wind. To help little one’s stay upright, the boots have a traction enhancing multi-directional lug outsole. Sorel added a feature to these wee boots that will even make parents smile. They have a Velcro-closure that is easy to fasten and a deep-tongued design that makes getting kids in and out of them a breeze.
When the Sorel Snow Commander Toddler Boots first arrived it was love at first sight. From the stylish exterior to the insulated interior, I was smitten. Princess P wore them out in 7″ of snow and her feet were warm and dry when we returned inside. Out of all the great features of the Snow Commander Toddler Boots, my favorite happens to be the wide opening. This allows you to put the boots over thick socks and snow pants without a hassle. The only negative feature I can find with these boots is that they are a tad heavy. Princess P had a bit of trouble walking in them at first but now she is an old pro.
The Snow Commander Toddler Boots come in a variety of colors and can be purchased at Sorel for $50.
A big thank you to Sorel for this review opportunity.
